Thoughts
Lofty didn't want a fuss, a eulogy or a religious service when he died. So instead, he gets a tribute page!
Dad supported the RNLI having been a mariner himself. Whenever he was at home and it was blowing a gale outside, he'd be thankful he was on dry land and not at sea as he knew what rough waters could mean.
He would I think be happy to know that his name is going on to the side of the soon to be launched Whitby lifeboat: so he will be going to sea in rough weather once more!
